Vienna, 13 September 2023 – The DORDA Digital Industries Group successfully advised saas.group on its first investment in Austria. Led by M&A Partner Christian Ritschka, the closing of the transaction took place in August 2023. saas.group was founded in 2017 and has since acquired 16 SaaS brands, including AddSearch, Pipeline, Zenloop, Rewardful and Prerender. With over 250 staff across 30 countries globally, the company provides products across sales & marketing, HR, development tools and eCommerce verticals.
Founded in 2013, Usersnap was part of the first major wave of Austrian start-ups. Over the years, the company has built a user feedback platform for digital product teams, with integrations to over 5,000 third-party software solutions, including Jira, Azure DevOps, Slack, Asana, Trello, Github and Gitlab. Usersnap's notable customers include Lego, Red Hat, Trendyol, BBC, Erste Group and Microsoft. In total, there are about 1,300 customers worldwide.
The acquisition took the form of a 100% share deal, the parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. DORDA's advisory services covered all legally relevant aspects of the transaction, including the drafting and negotiation of the share purchase agreement and all ancillary documents as well as the execution of the legal due diligence.
