Andreas W. Mayr has been a partner at DORDA since 2003 and is a leading figure in the areas of M&A, private equity, and capital markets law. His practice focuses on advising on complex domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, as well as public takeovers and capital market transactions. Andreas advises companies, funds, financial institutions, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and family offices. Clients value his many years of experience at the interface between M&A and capital markets law, his economic understanding, business judgement, strategic thinking, and negotiating skills.
Outside of his transaction practice, Andreas works on complex restructurings and advises clients in his corporate defense practice in defending against various claims, as well as in regulatory proceedings and on governance and compliance-related issues.
Andreas Mayr is admitted to practice law in New York and Austria.
Prior to becoming a partner at DORDA, Andreas gained international professional experience as an associate at a New York City law firm in New York (1992), at a US-based international law firm in Frankfurt/Vienna (1996 - 1999), and as a partner in a renowned Law Firm (1999 – 2003).
