DORDA has once again been honoured at the Women in Business Law Awards 2025. The law firm has repeated its win as ‘Austria Firm of the Year’ and is also delighted to receive the ‘Work-Life Balance Firm of the Year’ award for the entire EMEA region. This underscores DORDA's ongoing commitment to promoting women in the legal industry and creating an appreciative and balanced working environment for all.
Francine Brogyányi, Managing Partner and Co-Head of women@DORDA, said of the repeated award: ´We remain fully committed to gender equality and an inclusive working environment. As an employer, it is essential to promote all talents and create a working environment in which every employee, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religion or origin, feels valued and can thus develop their full potential. For long-term success, it is important that employees can balance their lives outside the firm with their lives at the firm and can flexibly coordinate these two areas of their lives.´ Magdalena Nitsche, partner and co-head of women@DORDA, adds: ´Numerous programmes and initiatives actively promote equality at DORDA because we know that diverse teams lead to better results, more innovation and greater creativity. With the women@DORDA initiatives, such as selected mentoring programmes, the DORDA Leadership Academy and flexible working hours as well as part-time solutions, we believe we can steadily increase the proportion of women at all levels of our organisation. Awards such as the Women in Business Law Awards encourage us to continuously improve our commitment for equal opportunities.´
We are particularly delighted that Ida Woltran, a lawyer in DORDA's IT/IP & Data Protection team, has been named a Rising Star in the field of intellectual property.
The strength of women at DORDA in international comparison is also reflected in four further nominations: Tatjana Katalan, Partner, Environment; Magdalena Brandstätter, Partner, Real Estate; Nicol Sator, Lawyer, Rising Star Arbitration; Katrin Repic, Counsel, Rising Star Banking & Finance National.
