Stefan Artner is a partner at DORDA and heads the firm's real estate and construction law team. He is also a member of the Legal Tech Group. His main areas of expertise are real estate M&A, tenancy and residential law, contract law, property development projects and support for start-ups. In 2016, he received the Cäsar® real estate award for the best real estate service in Austria.
Stefan Artner is the initiator, founder and board member of Legal Tech Hub Europe, an association of leading law firms focusing on the digitalisation of the legal profession.
Stefan Artner is the editor and author of several specialist publications, such as the Praxishandbuch Immobilienrecht (Practical Handbook on Real Estate Law, 4th edition, 2022), which has become a standard work for the real estate industry in Austria, and the Handbuch Nachhaltigkeitsrecht (Handbook on Sustainability Law, 2021). Stefan Artner is also heavily involved in the Austrian start-up community and co-edited the Handbook on Start-up Investing (2nd edition, 2023). He regularly lectures at the University of Vienna and Danube University Krems as a lecturer and in specialist seminars on real estate law and due diligence.
