Marie Sophie Reitinger joined DORDA in 2024 as a principal associate and is co-head of the Sustainability Group.

Her practice focuses on environmental, energy and sustainability law, with a particular emphasis on sustainability reporting (CSRD), European supply chain law (CSDDD, CBAM) and the implementation of projects in construction and spatial planning, energy and energy contract law, waste management and contaminated site remediation law. She advises and represents project developers and municipalities in public law (approval) proceedings. She also advises on all aspects of the establishment and administration of energy communities.

Before joining DORDA, she worked at the University of Graz, the Supreme Court, the Higher Regional Court of Graz, and a well-known commercial law firm.

She is a regular lecturer for the Bar Academy, the Austrian Association of Real Estate Management and the municipal associations of the federal provinces. She also publishes regularly in legal journals and is a guest on legal podcasts.
