Elisabeth Reiner as new Senior Associate at DORDA

Elisabeth Reiner (36) has been with DORDA since 2016 and specialises in investment fund law and investment services. In the Banking and Capital Markets team she advises local and international clients on regulatory and corporate law issues. 

Dr Elisabeth Reiner, LL.M. has been with DORDA in the area of banking and capital markets law for three years. She advises domestic and foreign investment companies (investment funds, private equity, and real estate funds) and assists them in all legal matters. Elisabeth Reiner also advises clients on issues of money laundering prevention and obligations under the Beneficial Owners Register Act.

After graduating from the University of Vienna (Mag iur), the Senior Associate from Vorarlberg completed her doctoral studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Dr iur). During this time, she worked on the core values of the legal profession and business models under the supervision of Univ-Prof Dr Alexander Schopper as part of an anniversary fund project financed by the OeNB. From the research project with an interdisciplinary approach, she later developed the subject of her doctoral thesis, which was supervised by Univ-Prof Dr Susanne Kalss. Verlag Österreich has published the award-winning work on the subject of law firms as a book. Elisabeth Reiner is the author of several publications.

In 2016, the 36-year-old obtained her LL.M. in Commercial Law at the University of Edinburgh. Elisabeth Reiner acquired her profound understanding of law not at least through her academic work at the University of Innsbruck and the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

In her private life, she has shown focus and endurance as a competitive athlete. In 2011, she became vice champion at the national championships of road cycling. During her active career, she also took part in the legendary Tour of Flanders for the women's Austrian National Cycling Team.
