Arbitration

DORDA has deep roots in arbitration, whether for our own clients as party counsel or as arbitrators. We are familiar with the advantages of arbitration clauses and know how to use them in our clients’ interest: Free selection of arbitral language and venue, no public proceedings and thus greater confidentiality, tailor-made proceedings before the appropriate arbitral tribunal, no appeals and, above all, the possibility of immediate enforcement of the arbitral award in nearly all countries.

As a former member of the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC and as a member of the associated Commission on Arbitration, Senior Partner Christian Dorda has broad experience he can draw on. DORDA was instrumental in the latest amendment of the law on arbitration (exclusive, single-level jurisdiction of the Supreme Court for Arbitration Matters).

"A market-leading presence in both arbitration and litigation" (Chambers Europe). To find more recommendations for this practice group by international legal directories, please click here.
